Role Overview As the Senior Customer Operations Manager for our Walmart partnership, you will be the operational linchpin that drives flawless execution across the entire supply chain. You will partner with cross‑functional teams—Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Marketing—to ensure that every Walmart order is fulfilled on time, in full, and with the highest service quality. Your strategic insights and hands‑on execution will directly influence inventory health, customer satisfaction, and the profitability of one of brighthush’s most critical retail channels. Key Responsibilities Retailer Customer Operations Own day‑to‑day operational execution for the Walmart business, serving as the primary supply‑chain partner and point of contact for Walmart’s replenishment and operations teams. Build and nurture trusted relationships through regular business reviews and operational meetings, identifying opportunities to elevate service levels, inventory health, and overall supply‑chain performance. Collaborate closely with Sales to support new product launches, promotional events, assortment changes, modular resets, and seasonal initiatives that drive sales and brand visibility. Monitor purchase‑order activity, replenishment cycles, and inventory flow to guarantee timely fulfillment, resolve execution issues, and maintain strong in‑stock performance across all Walmart categories. Inventory & Supply Chain Performance Track and optimize key performance metrics such as In‑Stock %, OTIF, Fill Rate, Weeks of Supply, Inventory Health, GMROII, and Forecast Accuracy. Analyze retailer and internal supply‑chain data to uncover emerging risks, surface performance trends, and develop actionable plans that enhance inventory availability and customer service. Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Planning to refine forecast accuracy, improve inventory availability, and streamline replenishment execution. Cross‑Functional Leadership Act as the operational bridge between Walmart and internal teams, translating retailer needs into clear, actionable plans and ensuring alignment across the organization. Lead cross‑functional initiatives involving Sales, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations to resolve supply‑chain challenges, improve execution, and support customer commitments. Drive accountability across stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues and successful execution of key business initiatives. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve reporting, streamline processes, and increase visibility across Walmart’s supply‑chain operations through data‑driven insights. Develop and implement scalable reporting tools, dashboards, and process improvements that boost efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen retailer relationships. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer operations, supply chain, logistics, or retailer‑facing roles within a CPG or consumer‑products environment. Proven track record supporting large national retailers—especially Walmart—in customer operations, replenishment, order management, or sales operations. Deep understanding of retail replenishment, inventory management, forecasting, and supply‑chain execution. Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Power BI, Tableau, ERP systems, and retailer reporting tools is highly preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ownership mindset and a history of driving projects, improving processes, and delivering measurable results. Six Sigma or other continuous‑improvement experience is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing Walmart or other large retailer relationships in a CPG setting. Familiarity with Walmart’s specific replenishment and reporting platforms.
