Clinical Care Physician – MBBS

Evidence-Based Healthcare | Preventive Medicine | Lifestyle & Longitudinal Patient Care

We are looking for a compassionate, evidence-oriented MBBS doctor who believes that good healthcare is not about prescribing more—it is about prescribing what is necessary, appropriate and supported by evidence.

The role is ideal for a doctor who enjoys understanding the whole patient, not just the diagnosis, and who is interested in integrating medical care with nutrition, exercise, yoga, fitness and other appropriate lifestyle interventions.

What You Will Do

  1. Deliver thoughtful, patient-centred medical care
  • Evaluate patients comprehensively and develop individualized care plans.
  • Follow a “right treatment, right patient, right time” approach.
  • Avoid unnecessary medications, investigations and nutraceuticals where they are not clinically indicated.
  • Focus on sustainable health outcomes rather than prescription-driven care.
  1. Practice evidence-based medicine
  • Stay familiar with current clinical guidelines and standard treatment protocols.
  • Be able to explain why a particular treatment is recommended, including the evidence and clinical reasoning behind it.
  • Balance guideline-based care with individual patient needs and circumstances.
  1. Integrate nutrition into clinical care
  • Recommend practical, condition-appropriate dietary approaches within the scope of medical practice.
  • Coordinate with qualified dietitians/nutritionists whenever specialized dietary intervention is required.
  • Help patients understand how food, sleep, physical activity and lifestyle influence their health.
  1. Build structured treatment pathways
  • Develop and implement standardized clinical protocols and patient-care pathways for common health conditions.
  • Create structured schedules for medication, monitoring, diet, exercise and follow-up.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across patient care.
  1. Provide hybrid healthcare – online + home-based care
  • Begin with online consultations and continuous patient monitoring.
  • Conduct or coordinate home visits when clinically required.
  • Identify situations where virtual care is insufficient and appropriately escalate the patient to in-person/specialist care.
  1. Build and supervise the clinical support team
  • Help establish a coordinated multidisciplinary care team.
  • Work closely with nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, trainers, yoga professionals and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise the team's clinical functioning and ensure that patient care remains medically appropriate and coordinated.
  1. Monitor patients longitudinally
  • Review patient progress through scheduled follow-ups and measurable health outcomes.
  • Monitor treatment response, adherence and adverse events.
  • Identify deterioration or red flags early and arrange appropriate escalation/referral.
  • Maintain clear and structured clinical documentation.
  1. Create an integrated healthy-living plan where appropriate, integrate:
  • Yoga
  • Gym/strength and conditioning
  • Physiotherapy
  • Mobility and rehabilitation exercises
  • Walking/aerobic activity
  • Sleep and lifestyle interventions
  • Nutrition and behavioural strategies
The physician will help ensure that these interventions are clinically appropriate, coordinated and aligned with the patient's medical condition and goals. Who We Are Looking For:
  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical registration.
  • Strong clinical fundamentals and sound medical judgement.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain medical decisions clearly to patients.
  • Interest in evidence-based, preventive and lifestyle-oriented healthcare.
  • Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
We Would Especially Like to Meet Doctors Who:
  • Believe that less medication can sometimes mean better medicine—when clinically appropriate.
  • Read and follow clinical guidelines rather than relying solely on habit or convention.
  • Enjoy working with patients over the long term rather than only treating one episode of illness.
  • Are comfortable with teleconsultation and digital patient monitoring.
  • Have an interest in nutrition, preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, rehabilitation or health optimisation.
  • Have experience working with dietitians, physiotherapists, fitness professionals or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Are curious, practical and willing to continuously learn.
This Role Is NOT About:
  • Prescribing medications and nutraceuticals routinely.
  • Following a one-size-fits-all treatment approach.
  • Treating symptoms without understanding the underlying lifestyle and clinical context.
  • Replacing medical treatment with alternative therapies.
Instead, we want to build a model where evidence-based medical care and healthy lifestyle interventions work together. Why This Role Is Different:
  • This is an opportunity for an MBBS doctor to become more than a conventional consultant.
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in building a structured, physician-led healthcare model where the doctor coordinates the patient's medical, nutritional, physical and lifestyle journey.
  • You will not simply treat a patient.
  • You will help design the patient's healthcare journey.
Interested?
  • If you are an MBBS doctor who believes in ethical prescribing, evidence-based medicine, preventive healthcare and holistic—but scientifically grounded—patient care, we would be interested in hearing from you.
Please share your CV along with a brief note describing your clinical interests, experience with multidisciplinary care, and why this model of healthcare interests you.
