Front Desk Executive cum Medical Coder

Al Bayan Medical Center LLC is looking for a motivated and experienced Front Desk Executive cum Medical Coder to join our medical center in Deira, Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have experience in medical reception/front desk operations, patient registration, insurance coordination, medical coding and billing in a UAE healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Reception
  • Welcome and assist patients professionally.
  • Handle patient registration, appointments and inquiries.
  • Manage incoming calls and WhatsApp inquiries.
  • Coordinate patient flow and doctor appointments.
  • Verify patient information and required documents.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, laboratory and other departments.
Medical Coding & Insurance
  • Perform accurate medical coding for consultations, procedures and services.
  • Prepare and review insurance claims and supporting documents.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Handle pre-approvals and coordinate with insurance companies/TPAs.
  • Check claims for coding, documentation and billing accuracy.
  • Follow up on rejected, pending and returned claims.
  • Ensure proper documentation according to insurance requirements.
  • Assist with billing and daily revenue reconciliation when required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Executive / Medical Coder in a UAE medical center or clinic.
  • Knowledge of medical coding, insurance claims and pre-approval procedures.
  • Familiarity with UAE healthcare insurance/TPA processes.
  • Good computer skills and experience with clinic/HIS or medical billing software.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Good command of English is required.
  • Hindi/Urdu or Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a busy medical-center environment.
  • Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
