Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated

Remote Data Entry Specialist

to join our Operations Analytics (OA) team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and curating data from a variety of sources to support reporting, analysis, and decision‑making across the organization. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, develop automated reporting solutions, and help maintain the integrity of our Single Source of Truth data repositories. This is a full‑time, remote position with immediate openings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple internal and external sources into structured databases.
  • Cleanse and curate datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness for downstream analytics.
  • Design and maintain automated reporting pipelines that deliver timely insights to business leaders.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and IT to define data requirements and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Document data lineage, data quality rules, and metadata to support governance and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data processes, tools, and workflows using emerging technologies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on data best practices and tooling.
  • Adhere to data security and privacy policies, ensuring all data handling complies with industry regulations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience building complex queries, views, and stored procedures.
  • Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SAS, or a comparable language for data manipulation and automation.
  • Experience troubleshooting data pipelines and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high‑quality results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to data security, privacy, and compliance best practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and a minimum age of 18.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience working in the airline or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and experience building data solutions in the cloud.
