Review and edit transcribed documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to formatting and style guidelines. Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of transcribed medical records, including proofreading, editing, and verification processes. Develop and maintain quality metrics, benchmarks, and performance standards for transcription accuracy and productivity. Provide feedback, training, and coaching to transcriptionists to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with documentation standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies governing medical record documentation, including HIPAA regulations. Stay informed about updates and changes in medical terminology, coding systems, and transcription guidelines, and disseminate information to transcription staff as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and medical coders to resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure accurate and comprehensive medical records.
