Investment Analyst Hospitality Real Estate Private Equity

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Perform financial analysis and underwriting for hotel acquisition and investment opportunities, including valuation, cash flow analysis, capital structures, and return metrics.

-Build, update, and maintain financial models while conducting market research using CoStar, STR reports, demographic data, and other third-party sources.

-Prepare Investment Committee (IC) memorandums, Equity Offering Memorandums (OMs), investment summaries, fundraising presentations, and other investment-related materials.

-Maintain acquisition pipelines and investment databases by tracking opportunities, coordinating broker communications, executing Confidentiality Agreements (CAs), and managing due diligence documentation.

-Organize electronic data rooms, SharePoint folders, and Microsoft Teams workspaces while maintaining transaction checklists and supporting active acquisitions through coordination with brokers and other third-party stakeholders.

-Perform administrative and operational support functions, including document management, data verification, quality control, and maintaining accurate investment records across multiple internal platforms.

-Assist with investor relations activities by supporting fundraising campaigns, maintaining investor databases, processing subscription documents, resolving investor queries, and coordinating investor onboarding through AppFolio.

-Support CRM/Internal Platform administration by maintaining deal records, performing data imports, updating dashboards, and ensuring database accuracy.

-Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through workflow optimization, AI-enabled automation, Excel enhancements, and process documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business, or a related field with 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, commercial real estate, private equity, or investment banking. Strong analytical skills, PowerPoint, and Excel skills are essential.

Experience with CoStar, DealCloud, AppFolio, or any Deal Management Software, and AI productivity tools such as Claude AI is preferred. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.
