  • Data Validation: Manage the backend survey data, ensuring data structures are clean and properly formatted for delivery (SPSS, Excel, CSV, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Quickly diagnose and resolve technical scripting bugs, link tracking issues, or respondent flow bottlenecks during live fieldwork.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with internal Project Managers and client-side researchers to clarify requirements and provide updates on project timelines.
  • Data Scrubbing: Clean and scrub survey data to remove duplicate or fraudulent responses while preserving dataset integrity.
  • Data Privacy & Compliance: Handle respondent data in line with confidentiality requirements, ensuring PII is scrubbed or anonymised before delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on survey programming experience within a market research, panel, or data collection environment.
  • Platform Expertise: Advanced proficiency in major survey programming platforms (such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer or similar ResTech tools).
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize survey interfaces and design. Experience with Python or XML is a strong plus.
  • Eye for Detail: Exceptional analytical and QA skills with a track record of delivering clean, error-free survey logic and data files.
  • Client facing: Strong experience collaborating with internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Commercial teams, etc.) and external clients, managing expectations, resolving technical queries and ensuring timely delivery.
