m2r Education are hiring online ESL Teachers for a large ESL training provider based in Hong Kong, China. Ongoing recruitment!

Contract lengths start at 1 year.

Hours:

  • 6pm to 10pm Beijing time (11am to 3pm UK time)
  • 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday)
  • Classes are 28 minutes long

Classes

  • Students range from 5yrs to 12yrs old
  • Classes are 1 to 1
  • All learning material will be provided
  • They teach on Zoom but also have their own learning platform

Classes and schedules will be fixed, meaning that teachers will be teaching the same classes and kids every week. Teachers will be able to also develop a deeper relationship with their students along with the benefits of a fixed schedule. The relationship between students asnd teachers is very important, so their classes focus on expansaion and are student-centered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • ESL qualification (TEFL/CELTA)
  • 1 year online experience
  • Applications accepted from UK, US, Canada
  • Enthusiastic and professional
  • Ability to motivate students
  • Able to commit to the timings previously stated in the advert.
  • Great communication and presentation skills.
  • Robust internet connection (download speed of 50M and upload speed of 20M)
  • HD webcam, headset with microphone needed
  • Reliable software with high RAM and fast processor (at least 8GB of storage free)
