About the Opportunity

Simplified Management Solutions is expanding its software business and is looking for Business Development & Growth Professionals who can help us take our software products to businesses across India.

We are looking for people who are comfortable speaking with business owners, HR professionals, Accounts teams, retailers, institutions and other decision-makers, understanding their requirements and introducing them to suitable software solutions.

This is not simply a calling or lead-generation job.

We are looking for people who can generate business and drive customer acquisition.

You will represent and promote our range of business software solutions, which may include:

  • HRMS & Payroll Software.
  • CRM & Customer Management Software.
  • Retail Billing / POS Software.
  • Business Management Software.
  • ERP / Factory Management Solutions.
  • Fleet / Car Rental Management Software.
  • Educational / Assessment Software.
  • Other customised software solutions developed by our team.
You do not need to be a programmer. Your primary responsibility is to understand the customer's business problem and connect that problem with the right software solution.

Our technical team will support you wherever detailed product or technical discussion is required.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development

  • Identify potential business customers through personal networking, references, local business contacts, online research, business groups, exhibitions, events and other suitable channels.
  • Build and maintain a prospect database.
  • Approach business owners, decision-makers and relevant professionals.
  • Understand their current business processes and problems.
  • Identify opportunities where our software can provide a practical solution.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into paying customers.
  1. Customer Acquisition
  • Take ownership of the sales process from initial contact to conversion.
  • Explain the benefits and practical use of our software.
  • Arrange product demonstrations where required.
  • Coordinate with our internal team for demonstrations and technical discussions.
  • Follow up with prospects regularly.
  • Handle basic customer objections and communicate the value of the product.
  • Maintain proper records of leads, discussions, demonstrations and follow-ups.
  • Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  1. Relationship Building
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Generate referrals from existing customers and business contacts.
  • Identify opportunities for additional products, modules or services.
  • Maintain professional communication after the sale.
  • Develop a strong network within the local business community.
  1. Market Development
You will also be expected to think beyond individual sales. We want people who can help us identify:
  • New customer segments.
