Location: Current Delhi, India Department: Web Development Role Overview We are looking for a Web Developer to build, customize, and maintain our Shopify store and related web applications for our online book catalogue. The role involves custom Shopify app development, third-party integrations, and independent ownership of projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Build, customize, and maintain the Shopify storefront, themes, and product pages. ¢ Develop custom Shopify apps for inventory sync, order processing, and catalogue automation. ¢ Integrate Shopify with third-party apps and services (payments, shipping, ERP, etc.). ¢ Write Python scripts for data imports, catalogue updates, and reporting. ¢ Manage projects independently from planning through delivery. ¢ Collaborate with sales, editorial, and marketing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Database Management (SQL) ¢ Design, query, and optimize SQL databases (MySQL/SQL Server) for product, order, and customer data. ¢ Write productive queries, stored procedures, and data migration scripts. Must Have Experience creating custom Shopify apps. Knowledge of the Shopify REST API and GraphQL API. Robust knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. Working knowledge of Shopify Metafields and Metaobjects. Experience integrating Shopify with third-party apps. Ability to handle projects independently.
