We also welcome remote candidates from anywhere in Canada<br><br><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>The Vice President, Finance Operations & Transformation is a senior finance executive responsible for leading and scaling a modern finance operations team for a public company.<br><br>This leader owns the operational backbone of Finance: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll operations, procurement, deal desk governance, customer contracting, and finance operations transformation.<br><br>The mandate is not simply to run today’s processes; it is to redesign and modernize them so the company can scale efficiently, improve the employee and customer experience, strengthen financial discipline, and operate with greater speed, consistency, automation, and insight.<br><br>The successful candidate will bring a transformation mindset and a strong operating cadence. They will be equally comfortable improving day-to-day execution, creating enterprise-wide standards, partnering with Sales and Legal on complex commercial transactions, working with IT on systems and workflow automation, and leading change across the finance organization.<br><br>Vacancy Status<br><br>This is an existing job vacancy<br><br>What you will do<br><br><ul><li> Lead global finance operations across accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll operations, procurement, customer contracting and deal desk governance. </li><li> Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of all financial transactions, application of internal controls, and compliance with company policies and procedures. </li><li> Lead the team and serve as a global advisor on deal structuring, pricing strategy, and commercial terms to optimize revenue outcomes. Provide strategic insights into deal dependencies, risks, and opportunities to support global planning and execution. </li><li> Lead the transformation of finance operations by improving processes, leveraging technology, and introducing automation and AI where they create business value. </li><li> Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate manual processes across financial operations. </li><li> Grow teams, develop leaders across the portfolio, and create an environment that supports collaboration, operational excellence, and modern enterprise thinking <br><br></li></ul>What we are looking for<br><br><ul><li> 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience. </li><li> Significant experience with finance operations, finance transformation, procurement operations, or related environments. </li><li> Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in finance transformation. </li><li> Proven ability to modernize processes through standardization, automation, analytics, AI-enabled tools, and operating model redesign. </li><li> Strong leadership skills to provide vision and support to the Finance team, mentor individuals, and develop high-performing talent. <br><br></li></ul><strong>#VP<br><br></strong><strong>#DF-LI1<br><br></strong><strong>Work With Impact:</strong> Our platform directly helps companies power the world’s supply chains.
