  • Railyard & Hub Coordination: Navigate daily operations across major Joliet-area hubs (e.g., Union Pacific Global IV, BNSF Logistics Park Chicago - LPC) and manage gate processes, container pre-pulls, and drop-and-hook schedules.

  • Proactive Tracking: Monitor all shipments via GPS and ELD systems, tracking rail arrivals and departures to provide real-time updates to customers and steamship lines.
  • Administrative Accuracy: Ensure all Interchange Receipts (J1), Bills of Lading (BOL), and equipment status records are uploaded accurately into our systems for prompt billing.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Geography: Strong familiarity with the Chicago/Joliet freight corridors, railyard locations, and local weight/bridge laws for heavy container hauling.

What We’re Looking For:
The "Safety & Compliance" Mindset: Someone who understands that intermodal hauling requires strict adherence to rail safety rules and equipment inspection standards.
The Problem Solver: A professional who stays calm under pressure when facing long railyard flip lines, gate delays, or chassis shortages.
The Growth Partner: We are scaling our fleet, and we want someone who is excited to help build the operational foundation of a growing company.
