Travel Agent For Flight and Sales- Night Shift

The ideal candidate should be confident handling flight inquiries, preparing fare options, following up with customers, and converting leads into confirmed bookings. This is a remote night-shift position supporting customers in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle flight inquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and online leads.
  • Search and compare domestic and international flight options.
  • Prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Explain fares, baggage allowances, cancellation rules, change penalties, and travel conditions.
  • Follow up with customers and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Book, issue, reissue, cancel, and refund airline tickets.
  • Handle schedule changes, missed connections, cancellations, and other customer concerns.
  • Recommend suitable routes, airlines, travel dates, and fare options.
  • Cross-sell travel insurance, hotels, packages, seat selection, baggage, and other travel services.
  • Collect customer information and verify names, passport details, travel dates, and documentation before ticketing.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, booking notes, follow-up dates, and payment details in the CRM.
  • Coordinate with consolidators, airlines, suppliers, and internal team members.
  • Provide professional pre-booking and post-booking support.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in flight reservations, ticketing, or travel sales.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international airfare sales.
  • Experience using a GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or another flight reservation system.
  • Understanding of fare rules, ticketing deadlines, reissues, cancellations, refunds, and airline penalties.
  • Strong sales and customer-conversion skills.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Professional phone, WhatsApp, and email communication.
  • Ability to handle customers independently and manage multiple inquiries.
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and regular follow-ups.
  • Reliable internet connection, computer, headset, and quiet home-working environment.
  • Ability to work night shifts according to Canadian business hours.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling flights for the Canadian, US, UK, or international market.
  • Knowledge of CanadaIndia routes and airlines.
  • Experience working with airfare consolidators.
  • Familiarity with Canadian airport codes, provinces, time zones, and customer expectations.
  • Experience selling family travel, student fares, group bookings, and complex international itineraries.
  • Knowledge of travel insurance, visa requirements, baggage policies, and transit rules.
