1. Position Details

Designation: Senior Executive / Team Leader / Assistant Manager Sales (Non Trade)

Department: Sales & Marketing Institutional Sales

Location: As per requirement

Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Experience: 4-8 years (Institutional Sales Cement / Building Materials)

Qualification: Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred)

2. Role Purpose The role is responsible for driving institutional (Non-Trade) cement sales across the assigned territory through government departments, infrastructure projects, contractors and institutional customers. The position focuses on revenue generation, key account management, approvals, project mapping and stakeholder engagement while ensuring profitability and market share growth.

3. Key Responsibilities / Deliverables

  • Take ownership of institutional sales and revenue targets in the assigned territory
  • Map projects, infrastructure developments and institutional opportunities
  • Manage and grow key accounts including government departments, contractors and large buyers
  • Develop and manage distribution channels supporting institutional sales
  • Obtain product approvals from government departments (PWD, CPWD, MES, Railways, etc.)
  • Coordinate with purchase authorities, distributors and internal teams for smooth supply
  • Identify new project opportunities to increase volume, profitability and category share
  • Monitor sales activities and implement corrective actions to achieve targets
  • Lead price negotiations, contract discussions and order finalization
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit norms
