About the Role

Paytm is looking for an energetic, data-driven, and high-impact IT Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Noida. In this role, you will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for engineering and technology roles across Paytm's core business units.

You will partner closely with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and HR Business Partners to source, attract, and hire high-caliber technical talent in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment. This role matters directly to Paytm’s growth engine: speed of technical execution starts with bringing in top-tier engineering talent who demonstrate strong ownership, business impact, and learning agility.


Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Talent Acquisition: Drive the full recruitment lifecycle for software engineering, backend, frontend, infrastructure, data, and mobile engineering roles.

Proactive Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, tech communities, employee referrals, and specialized job portals) to build a robust candidate pipeline for critical engineering demands.

Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to understand technical requirements, define candidate personas, and align on hiring timelines and assessment criteria.

Candidate Experience: Ensure a transparent, engaging, and professional candidate journey from initial outreach through technical rounds to offer acceptance and onboarding.

Offer Management & Negotiation: Conduct salary fitment assessments, negotiate offer packages, and manage post-offer engagement to ensure high offer conversion rates and low drop-outs.

Process & SLA Adherence: Track key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, channel mix, and pass-through ratios to continuously optimize hiring efficiency.


Required Qualifications

2–4 years of core hands-on experience in IT/Technical recruitment within a fast-paced Internet, Fintech, Product, or High-Growth Tech ecosystem.

Demonstrated track record of closing niche and complex engineering roles (e.g., Java, Microservices, React, Node.js, Cloud/DevOps, Data Engineering).

Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, engineering designations, and technical skill matrices.

Excellent candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and salary negotiation skills.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting within product-based tech companies or fast-scaling fintech startups.

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Lever, Greenhouse, or Darwinbox.

Proven exposure to high-volume recruitment drives, hackathons, and tech community engagement.


AI Expectations

AI-Enabled Recruitment Workflows: Utilize AI tools for job description generation, candidate matching, Boolean string building, and intelligent resume parsing.

Market Intelligence & Outreach: Use AI tools for market mapping, competitive talent research, and personalizing candidate outreach emails at scale.

Productivity Improvement: Leverage AI-driven scheduling tools, automated interview updates, and automated reporting to reduce recruitment cycle times.
