Why You'll Love Working Here As the Supervisor, Order Management, you will lead the daily execution of ORBCOMM's order management operations, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established service level agreements. You'll supervise a team of Order Management Specialists while serving as the first point of escalation for operational issues, balancing workload priorities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Success, and other cross-functional partners, you'll help optimize the order-to-ship lifecycle, improve operational performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role is based out of our Hyderabad office. We operate in an onsite work environment. What You'll Do Team Leadership & Daily Operations Lead the day-to-day activities of the Order Management team, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and within established service level agreements. Assign, prioritize, and balance workloads to support daily operational demands and business priorities. Coach, mentor, and develop team members while reinforcing standard work, operational procedures, and best practices. Support the onboarding and training of new team members. Monitor team attendance, productivity, and operational coverage tomaintainbusiness continuity. Order Management & Operational Execution Oversee daily order entry, validation, and fulfillment activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Monitor operational KPIs including order accuracy, backlog levels, order holds, and SLA performance. Conduct daily backlog and order status reviews to proactively identify and resolve operational issues. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex order management issues, partnering with internal stakeholders to drivetimelyresolution. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Ensure consistent execution of order management processes, controls, and compliance requirements. Identifyrecurring operational issues, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience. Support the implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation updates. Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration Maintain visibility into daily operational performance through reporting and KPI tracking. Prepare and communicate reports on order volumes, backlog trends, SLA performance, and operational metrics. Provide operational insights and recommendations to the Manager, Order Management, to support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Success, and other business partners to support a seamless order-to-ship process and positive customer experience. Who You Are You're a collaborative operations leader who enjoys developing people, solving complex operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement. You thrive in fast-paced environments where accuracy, customer focus, and operational excellence are critical to business success. If You Have Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. 23 years of experience in Customer Operations, Sales Operations, Order Management, or a related operational environment. Must have 3+ years of experience leading or supervising a team, either formally or informally. Hands-on experience supporting order-to-ship processes within a customer-focused organization. Strong understanding of the end-to-end order management lifecycle. Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar enterprise systems. Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce. Ability to prioritize competing priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A customer-first mindset witha strong senseof urgency and accountability. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
