Sr Digital Marketing Associate, Kindle SGX Ops

<strong>Description<br><br></strong><ul><li> The Primary responsibility of the role is to perform various activities related to Editorial program and execute marketing operations to improve visibility.</li><li> Read content, correct spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors.</li><li> Establish the marketing placement standards and ensure the accuracy and quality of editorial content. - Perform high skilled works around Blurb writing, Blurb consistency, Produce headlines on marketing placements to attract our target audience, help the team craft and refine ideas</li><li> The role will require the candidate to quickly understand the marketing tools and operation workflow tools.</li><li> The associate need to continuously adapt and learn new features on the Editors and improve on his/her acumen to quickly edit and fix content. The associate will report monthly on all key metrics from marketing placements. He/she has to follow editing SOP to spot/catch errors in the content. The associate will need to be aware of the operations metrics like productivity (Number of titles processed per hour), quality (defect %age) and delivery/latency SLA. The associate will be measured on his compliance to these Metrics, SLA requirements, QA guidelines, team and personal goals.</li><li> Manage day-to-day work related to catalog management & digital marketing.</li><li> Clear understanding on the digital marketing strategies done via different methods.</li><li> Has an understanding on the metrics that are used to measure the success of the marketing promotions that are done.</li><li> Manage special projects from planning through execution.</li><li> Operate in an ambiguous environment to define new business practices and standard operating procedures.</li><li> Create and drive business requirements for both process improvement and technical solutions</li><li> Be a subject matter expert to inform recommended strategies that meet operating goals.</li><li> The role will require the candidate to quickly understand SLA, Metrics, Deliverables and work towards achieving Goals.</li><li> Candidate should be a team player and come up with improvement ideas to his direct report and improve the editing/QA process.</li><li> The candidate will need to often contact stakeholders globally to provide status reports, communicate relevant information and escalate when needed.</li><li> In addition, the candidate should have attention to detail, good communication skills, and a professional demeanor.</li><li> Creating and scheduling standalone campaigns with a clear focus on devising strategies to drive traffic and engagement.</li><li> Working with teams to gather learnings about how internal marketing tools are managed, maintained and continue to build use cases that build efficiencies in developing operational excellence</li><li> Optimizing content campaigns, messaging and navigation through frequent testing and data analysis, documenting the results and sharing best practices</li><li> Analyzing data to identify customer segmentation strategies</li><li> Craft, execute and build playbooks and SOPs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Completed under graduation (UG) in any stream.</li><li> - Knowledge of Excel at a basic level (e.g., UX navigation, math & logical functions, lookup functions, etc.)</li><li> - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication</li><li> - Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques</li><li> - 5+ years of digital content management, communications, or content strategy experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines</li><li> - Experience using customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers and dive deep</li><li> - Knowledge of a varied set of software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel, image editing software, SQL)</li><li> - Knowledge of basic SQL queries</li><li> - Self starter, good team player</li><li> - Good interpersonal skills to manage ongoing relationships with software team and inter operations teams</li><li> - Working knowledge of XML standards would be an added advantage</li><li> - Knowledge of or experience in Publishing industry is a big plus<br><br></li></ul>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
