🌟 Role Overview
This is not just a job – this is a founding team opportunity.

As the Founding Team Member – Spiritual Tourism (Operations & Growth), you will be responsible for building the spiritual tourism vertical from the ground up. This role demands experience, vision, and passion to lead, innovate, and create impactful spiritual journeys for millions of users.

You will drive strategic partnerships with travel operators, hotels, homestays, pilgrimage operators, temples, and priests to craft unique, culturally rich pilgrimage experiences across India. This role requires at least 6+ years of experience in the travel, spiritual tourism, or hospitality sector.

💼 Key Responsibilities

1. Foundational Leadership & Strategy
Take complete ownership of building the Spiritual Tourism vertical, operating as a mini CEO for the initiative.
Develop short-term and long-term growth strategies, focusing on creating differentiated spiritual travel offerings.
Drive market entry, 0-1 business development, and scaling strategies to make DharmikVibes a leader in spiritual tourism.

2.Partnership Development & Ecosystem Building

Forge partnerships with travel agencies, pilgrimage operators, hotels, homestays, and transportation services.
Collaborate with temples, priests, and local spiritual communities to ensure culturally immersive experiences.
Build and maintain relationships with large pilgrimage sites (Kedarnath, Tirupati, Varanasi, Amritsar, etc.).
Negotiate contracts and build long-term alliances with vendors and partners.

3.Operational Excellence

Oversee end-to-end operational planning and execution for pilgrimage packages and spiritual tours.
Create seamless travel itineraries, covering flights, trains, hotels, homestays, car rentals, and large-group logistics.
Ensure smooth coordination between all stakeholders, from travel operators to temple authorities.
Manage and optimize P&L for the tourism vertical.

4.Customer-Centric Pilgrimage Planning

Develop personalized pilgrimage packages tailored for solo travelers, families, and large groups.
Design high-end luxury pilgrimage experiences for NRI travelers from the USA, Canada, and Europe.
Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve and innovate on offerings.

5.Team Building & Leadership

Build, lead, and manage a dynamic team for the spiritual tourism vertical.
Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

6.Market Insights & Reporting

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting in the spiritual tourism space.
Present growth plans, performance reports, and data-driven insights to the leadership team.

💯 Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or spiritual tourism sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading growth initiatives, partnerships, or new business verticals.
  • Strong network of temple authorities, travel agencies, hotels, and pilgrimage operators is a significant advantage.
  • Deep appreciation and understanding of Indian spirituality, pilgrimage traditions, and temple ecosystems.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on experience in building or scaling businesses.
  • Exceptional project management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with large group travel planning and operational coordination.
