This is a full-time, permanent role with real ownership from the first quarter — you will be given work that ships, reviewed by people who know the craft, and the context to understand why it matters. About the role The Software Engineer I role at PayPal centres on building and shipping features in a production codebase alongside senior engineers who review your work. Expect Git, CI pipelines and the team’s primary language to be your working environment, and expect to be asked why you made a decision as often as what you built.
