Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling, platform-optimized copy for organic posts, paid ads, and campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
  • Develop and execute monthly content calendars aligned with brand strategy, campaign goals, and audience insights.
  • Craft engaging headlines, captions, taglines, and calls-to-action that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Translate brand messaging into clear, creative narratives tailored to different audiences and social formats.
  • Collaborate with designers, video editors, and marketing stakeholders to develop high-performing social creatives and ad variations.
  • Adapt copy based on performance data, A/B test results, and platform best practices to continuously improve results.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all social media channels.
  • Monitor social trends, conversations, and cultural moments to inform timely, relevant content ideas.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
  • Proven experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Reddit community and content management.
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for tone and audience relevance.
  • Working knowledge of social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Basic understanding of paid social advertising and A/B testing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and optimize content.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mid-sized or fast-growing company environment.
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C social media strategies.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Experience managing or moderating Reddit communities or AMAs.
