<div class="MuiBox-root mui-style-mmhn1u"> <p><b>Key Result Areas:</b></p> <p> – Assistance in assessments before the Assessing Officer and appeals before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals);</p> <p>– Representation in the Income tax department for routine matters such as rectifications, appeal effects, refunds, responding to various other income notices;</p> <p>– Income tax compliances such as advance tax, TDS compliance, income tax computations/ return filings, tax audit report, monthly tax provisioning;</p> <p>– Vetting of agreement from tax perspective ;</p> <p>– Providing opinion of various direct tax matters</p> <p>– Briefing of facts to tax counsel w.r.t to litigation pending at ITAT, High Court and Supreme Court.</p> <p>Required Skills The scope of work will include:</p> <p>– Assistance in income tax assessments before the Assessing Officer and appeals before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) which will include analysis of data collated, drafting of detailed legal and factual submissions, end to end execution of submissions, drafting statement of facts and grounds of appeal for filing appeal. The candidate should have research capabilities and excellent drafting skills;</p> <p>– Representation in the income tax office for routine work such as rectification, refunds, appeal effects;</p> <p>– Various income tax compliances such as advance tax; income tax computation/ return filings; tax audit report; monthly provisioning. </p> <p>The candidate should be have good knowledge of various provisions of the Income Tax Act dealing with determination of income under PGBP, capital gains, house property and income from other sources;</p> <p>– Managing withholding tax Compliances;</p> <p>– Vetting of agreement from tax perspective ;</p> <p>– Providing opinion of various direct tax matters:</p> <p>– Briefing of facts to tax counsel w.r.t to litigation pending at ITAT, High Court and Supreme Court.</p> <p>– Providing requisite information to Statutory and Internal auditors.</p> <p>The job requires interaction with the tax departments, business, finance and accounts and other functions of the company for the purpose of collation of information required for submissions, and therefore the person should have good inter-personal skills. </p> <p>The candidate should apply with a detailed CV discussing his present position, job profile, role and responsibility, the team he / she is managing, etc. </p> </div>
