Also accountable for liaising with railways, achieving financial targets, leading digitization efforts, and fostering a high-performance team culture to sustain operational excellence and employee engagement.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Cluster Logistics Lead - Coal Mining<br><br></strong><strong>Operational Efficiency And Coordination<br><br></strong>Ensure achievement of targeted coal dispatches for the entire cluster.<br><br>Collaborate with HODs of Railway operations, Mining, Security, Civil, Electrical, IT, and Accounts departments for smooth logistics operations.<br><br>Manage operational Expense within approved budgets and monitor it on timely basis.<br><br>Implement safety protocols across logistics operations for the cluster.<br><br>Maintain regular interaction with the TPS team to ensure effective quantity and quality control.<br><br>Resolve any client inquiries (related to billing, inventory, sales, dispatch), and coordinate with relevant departments to address and resolve any issues.<br><br>Oversee accurate and timely data entry in MIS systems, maintaining proper records for future reference<br><br><strong>Railway Liaison And Representation<br><br></strong>Liaise with Railway at the Division level to ensure rake availability and address critical issues.<br><br>Monitor and facilitate timely EDRM sanctions to support operational needs.<br><br><strong>Financial Management And Reporting<br><br></strong>Achieve annual budgetary targets and oversee procurement processes (PRs, SES, NIS).<br><br>Ensure timely vendor invoicing and oversee MIS reporting.<br><br><strong>Digitisation And Automation<br><br></strong>Utilize digital platforms for real-time data analysis, communication, and project management to enhance cluster-level logistics performance and efficiency.<br><br>Leverage digital tools to identify inefficiencies, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless logistics operations across the cluster.<br><br><strong>People And Team Engagement<br><br></strong>Lead, inspire and mentor the team to foster a high-performance culture.<br><br>Drive and enhance employee engagement across the team to sustain a positive workplace culture.<br><br>Foster a conducive environment for high employee retention by ensuring team satisfaction and professional development.<br><br>Supervise and support team to achieve operational goals.<br><br>Identify and develop successors for smooth functioning of business operations.<br><br><strong>Key Stakeholders - Internal<br><br></strong>Railway operations<br><br>Mining<br><br>Security<br><br>Civil Engineering<br><br>IT<br><br>Finance<br><br>HR Department<br><br><strong>Key Stakeholders - External<br><br></strong>Railway Authorities<br><br>Vendors and Suppliers<br><br>Regulatory Authorities<br><br>Contractors<br><br>Third-Party Inspection Agencies<br><br><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Educational Qualification:<br><br></strong>Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.<br><br>Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.<br><br><strong>Work Experience (Range Of Years)<br><br></strong>15 years of work experience in logistics or supply chain management, with cluster or regional experience
