Work arrangements may evolve based on future business needs What you’ll do: <ul><li>Work with a team of engineers to deliver feature set that are crucial to Revenue growth. </li><li>Be a part of a world class global organization. </li><li>Push the bar to solve complex technical challenges of scale and performance. </li><li>Architect, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance backend services, APIs, and cloud-native Node.js applications on AWS, Azure or similar hyperscale cloud platforms. </li><li>Design and build Node.js applications that can run close to users on edge compute platforms such as Akamai Edge Workers, AWS Lambda Edge, CloudFront Functions, or comparable CDN/hyperscaler edge runtimes. </li><li>Design and setup NoSQL databases and Search index required for end-end API flows. </li><li>Provide mentorship to engineering peers and uphold high standards in code quality and development practices. </li><li>Champion modern, maintainable infrastructure aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies </li></ul>Qualifications Required: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. </li><li>6+ years of experience in API development. </li><li>Expert Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, NodeJS,</li><li>Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating Node.js applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar hyperscale cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models. </li><li>Experience designing for edge execution models, including CDN-based compute, serverless functions at the edge, request/response transformation, caching strategies, latency optimization, and runtime constraints. </li><li>Experience in relational or NoSQL DB such as DynamoDB, Search technologies such as OpenSearch, Graph DB. </li><li>Must be able to pick up new backend technologies as the need arises. </li><li>Must be familiar with API standards and frameworks. </li><li>Knowledge to evaluate trade-offs based on cost, risk, effort analysis. </li><li>Practice in mentoring other engineers and influencing decision makers throughout the organization</li><li>Consideration of customer impact when making technical decisions </li></ul>Ways To Stand Out: <ul><li>Ability to fully utilize agentic development techniques, including AI-assisted coding, automated test generation, code review support, documentation acceleration, and workflow automation, to improve engineering efficiency, delivery speed, and overall development quality. </li><li>Experience in Code AI tools to gain productivity in coding. Eg. Github Copilot, Claude etc. </li><li>Experience in Github Actions to create and manage CICD pipelines. </li><li>Good problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work in a distributed team environment. </li><li>Good written and spoken communications skills are crucial </li></ul>Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
