Senior Content Editor (WFH)


About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit and proofread articles, blogs, and other content for grammar, style, and overall readability
2. Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and adherence to editorial guidelines
3. Conduct fact-checking to maintain content accuracy and credibility
4. Oversee the content production workflow, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
5. Act as the primary liaison for freelancers, writers, and editors
6. Assign tasks, prioritize projects, and facilitate smooth team communication
7. Develop and manage an editorial calendar to align with deadlines and campaign objectives
8. Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure strategic content alignment
9. Recommend content strategy improvements and implement editorial best practices
10. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to freelancers, junior editors, and writers
11. Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and productivity
12. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing editorial team culture
13. Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process improvements
14. Utilize editorial tools and software to streamline content production
15. Track performance metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of published content

  5. 5. Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and familiarity with SEO principles
  6. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  8. 8. Pre-qualification criteria- 90% and above score in English in classes 10th and 12th
  9. 9. Experience in editing and coordinating newsletters is a strong preference
