Company: High Street Essentials Pvt. Ltd. (houseofindya.com, faballey.com)

Location: Head office, Noida. On-site.

Reports to: Founders

Type: Full-time

Who we sell to:

Indya sells Indian occasion wear almost entirely outside India. Our customers are Indian-origin women in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. They pay in dollars and pounds, order values are high, and the purchase is emotional and time-bound: a lehenga for a wedding six weeks away, worn in photographs that matter to her. Creative that works for Indian domestic audiences does not automatically work here.

Key Roles & Responsibility:

1. Build & Scale the Sales Team

  • Build, hire, train, and manage high-performing inside sales, video sales, and bulk/wholesale sales teams.
  • Define team structure, hiring requirements, targets, roles, and performance expectations aligned with business goals.
  • Create a scalable sales operating model covering assisted D2C sales, bulk & gifting, and wholesale/B2B sales.
  • Establish daily sales rhythms, review mechanisms, performance dashboards, and accountability systems.
  • Drive continuous coaching, call reviews, training, and performance management to improve individual and team productivity.
  • Build SOPs, sales playbooks, scripts, objection-handling frameworks, and follow-up processes to enable the team to consistently deliver results.

2. Drive Assisted & Inbound Sales Through the Team

  • Build the team’s capability to convert inbound demand across WhatsApp, email, inbound leads, and high-intent DMs into revenue.
  • Establish response-time SLAs, lead qualification processes, follow-up cadences, and closure workflows.
  • Ensure the team effectively converts leads into D2C orders, high-AOV purchases, bulk/gifting orders, and wholesale/B2B accounts.
  • Continuously identify funnel leakages and implement interventions to improve conversion rate, AOV, and time-to-close.

3. Build Video-Based Selling Capability

  • Establish 1:1 video selling as a structured conversion channel for high-intent customers.
  • Develop video-selling triggers, call structures, product demonstration frameworks, and post-call closure processes.
  • Train and coach the sales team on live product demos, customer engagement, objection handling, and closing.
  • Track and improve the contribution of video selling to conversion, AOV, and sales cycle efficiency.

4. Own Sales Processes, SOPs & Performance Systems

  • Design and continuously improve SOPs for lead qualification, call/chat flows, pricing and quoting, negotiation, and closure handoffs.
  • Establish clear individual and team-level targets and performance metrics.
  • Build dashboards to track lead movement, funnel leakage, productivity, conversion, close rates, AOV, and sales cycle time.
  • Use sales data and performance insights to continuously improve team output and sales efficiency.

5. Own Sales Outcomes & Revenue Delivery

  • Own the overall performance of the sales team against defined revenue and conversion targets.
  • Drive improvement in inbound lead-to-order conversion rate and assisted sales contribution to revenue.
  • Improve AOV through effective assisted selling, cross-selling, and upselling.
  • Reduce sales cycle time and improve lead-to-closure efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent improvement in rep-level productivity and close rates.
