Sales and Marketing - Internship


About the internship:

This is not a traditional telecalling internship. You will learn how to identify, approach and build conversations with founders, directors and CXOs and understand how high-ticket B2B consulting is actually sold.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify potential clients including founders, directors, CXOs and MSME business owners using LinkedIn, Google, industry databases, exhibitions and other channels.
2. Build prospect lists and identify the right decision-makers within target companies.
3. Connect with prospects through LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email and phone calls using our outreach frameworks.
4. Understand a prospect's business, personal brand, current digital presence and possible growth opportunities before approaching them.
5. Initiate conversations with prospects and book qualified meetings for the senior consulting/sales team.
6. Follow up systematically with interested prospects and maintain all activities in the company CRM or tracking sheets.
7. Assist the team in creating personalised pitches, mini-audits and outreach messages for high-value prospects.
8. Research companies, founders and industries before sales meetings and prepare short prospect briefs.
9. Participate in exhibitions, networking events and business communities wherever required and help identify potential clients.
10. Work closely with the marketing/content team to understand how LinkedIn, content, personal branding and authority building can support B2B sales.
11. Track weekly metrics such as prospects researched, conversations initiated, follow-ups completed, meetings booked and opportunities created.
12. Contribute new ideas for improving our lead generation, outreach and conversion process.

  2. 2. Is comfortable making calls and initiating conversations with new people, and is curious about sales, marketing, entrepreneurship and personal branding.
  3. 3. Knows or is willing to learn LinkedIn prospecting, can research people and companies intelligently, has good follow-up discipline, and is comfortable using Google Sheets/Excel.

Additional information:

  • Stipend Structure:
    Fixed pay: ₹ 7,000 - 10,000 /month
    Incentive pay: ₹ 1,000 - 10,000 /month
  • Job offer:
    On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of ₹ 200000 to 360000/year
