Retail Receptionist

The Retail Receptionist serves as the primary face of the Nargis store, delivering an exceptionally warm welcome to incoming clients, managing billing transactions, maintaining daily office/store administration, and ensuring seamless customer order deliveries.

Key Responsibilities1. Front Desk & Customer Service

  • Warm Welcome: Greeting all arriving customers, guiding them to appropriate departments (e.g., bridal wear, sarees, unstitched suits), and answering general inquiries.
  • Customer Feedback Collection: Gathering verbal and written feedback, reviewing customer experiences, and relaying comments/complaints directly to store management.
  • Inbound Calls & Appointments: Managing incoming phone calls, booking client consultations, and providing basic information on stock availability.

2. Sales Billing & POS Operations

  • Invoice Generation: Generating accurate retail bills and tax invoices using the store’s Point of Sale (POS) billing software.
  • Discounts & Offers: Applying authorized discounts, promotional codes, or seasonal vouchers accurately during checkout.
  • Return & Exchange Handling: Processing returns, credit notes, and product exchanges in accordance with store policies.

3. Cash Handling & Financial Accuracy

  • Payment Processing: Accepting multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets.
  • Daily Cash Reconciliations: Balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying physical cash against POS settlement reports.
  • Daily Cash Handover: Safe handling and deposit of daily cash proceeds to the store cashier/manager with zero discrepancies.

4. Order Delivery & Tailoring Tracking

  • Order Intake: Logging custom orders, alterations, and custom stitching requests accurately.
  • Status Tracking: Communicating regularly with tailors, artisans, and vendors to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
  • Customer Handover: Managing final customer pickups, conducting pre-delivery inspections, and arranging local home deliveries/couriers when required.

5. Administrative & Daily Operations

  • Opening & Closing Routines: Ensuring the reception desk is clean, presentable, and supplied with billing stationary and packaging materials before opening.
  • Daily Log Maintenance: Maintaining daily visitor logbooks, client contact sheets, and delivery receipts.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Working closely with floor sales staff, warehouse teams, and management to maintain standard operational procedures.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
