Reporting Analyst

  • It’s an exciting time to join the Global Hilti Reporting Team as we shape the future of reporting and analytics across Hilti and drive our digital transformation journey.
  • As a BI Product Developer, you will work in a global, multicultural, and agile environment, partnering with business stakeholders to translate data into reliable, actionable insights. You will help design and deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and data models that enable fact-based decision-making across the organization.
  • This role combines analytical depth, business understanding, and strong collaboration to accelerate the adoption of analytics in both day-to-day and strategic decisions. You will also support internal stakeholders through ad-hoc analyses, project work, and operational tasks—ensuring transparency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in Hilti’s reporting standards.

What You’ll Bring

Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in BI, reporting, analytics, or a similar role.

Skills

Must Have:
  • Solid experience with data visualization and reporting in SAP Analytics Cloud, and back-end query design using SAP BW / BW/4HANA.
  • Practical knowledge of query design tools such as Bex Query Designer, Eclipse Query Designer, or comparable solutions.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and strong numerical skills.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and ways of working.

Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Technical knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence (BI/BW) and HANA modeling.
  • Good understanding of Sales or Manufacturing KPIs with the ability to translate business needs into value adding data solutions
  • Experience working in global, multicultural, and cross functional environments
  • Strong business understanding and an ability to look beyond the numbers.

  • High learning agility with openness to adopt new tools, technologies, and topics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex data concisely.
