Ramp Agent (Freshers) Asansol

As a Ramp Agent, your main duty will be to support the safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the airport operations run smoothly.Key Responsibilities:- Loading and Unloading Cargo: Safely handle baggage and cargo to ensure they are loaded and unloaded from airplanes correctly.- Marshalling Aircraft: Guide planes to and from the runway and gates using hand signals or lighted wands to ensure safety.- Towing Aircraft: Assist with moving aircraft on the ground, ensuring they reach the designated locations without any damage.- Performing Safety Checks: Conduct regular checks of the ramp area to ensure it is safe and free from hazards for both staff and aircraft.- Working with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members to coordinate loading and unloading processes to meet flight schedules timely.- Responding to Issues: Quickly react to any on-the-job issues, such as equipment malfunctions or safety concerns, to maintain safety standards.Required Skills and Expectations:- A high school education (10th pass) is required.- No prior experience is necessary; however, a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is crucial.- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members.- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy baggage and being outdoors in various weather conditions.- Attention to detail to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
