<p><strong>Professor of Practice</strong> <strong>- AI / ML and Computing (Open Rank)</strong></p><p><strong>Gurugram, Haryana (Remote)</strong></p><p>Full-time Position</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Institution: Saras AI Institute</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> Saras AI Institute is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable professor of practice to present live sessions in AI, ML, and computing, as well as address student queries and grade assignments. This role is critical in delivering high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with students and contribute to their academic success. The Professor of Practice will report to the Chief Academic Officer.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Live Session Facilitation:</strong></p><p>Conducting engaging and interactive live sessions for AI, ML, and computing courses.</p><p>Present complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.</p><p>Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Student Support:</strong></p><p>Address student queries promptly and effectively during and outside of live sessions.</p><p>Provide individualized support and mentorship to students.</p><p>Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Assessment and Grading:</strong></p><p>Develop and grade assignments, projects, and exams.</p><p>Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.</p><p>Ensure grading is consistent, fair, and aligned with course objectives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Course Content Development:</strong></p><p>Collaborate with faculty to develop and update course materials.</p><p>Incorporate the latest advancements and best practices in AI and Computing into the curriculum.</p><p>Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance course quality and student experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Administrative Duties:</strong></p><p>Maintained accurate records of student performance and attendance.</p><p>Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development discussions.</p><p>Assist with other administrative tasks as required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning or a related field from a reputable university.</li><li>Strong academic background with demonstrated expertise in AI, ML and Computing.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous teaching or tutoring experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in delivering live, interactive sessions using online platforms.</li><li>Experience in grading assignments and providing academic support to students.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>Ability to explain complex concepts understandably.</li><li>Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Appointment:</strong></p><p>This is a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor faculty appointment.</p>
