Role Description This is a full-time, remote News Writer role based in India.

The News

Writer will research and write news articles on architecture, development, design, luxury real estate, and PropTech ensuring accurate and timely coverage of industry news and projects. Daily responsibilities include sourcing, writing and publishing stories, supporting interviews, verifying information, and collaborating with editors to refine content for digital and print formats. The role also involves supporting editorial calendars, and maintaining consistent, high-quality journalistic standards.

The News

Writer will work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to align content with BIP’s voice and strategic goals.

Experience Minimum two years with a reputed organisation

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong News Writing and Journalism skills, with experience in reporting, storytelling, and industry-focused coverage.
  • Candidates should possess Writing and Communication skills, including clear, concise prose and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and formats.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and media-facing communication, with the ability to craft professional announcements and editorial pitches.
  • Candidates should have excellent research abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and ethical journalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in architecture, design, real estate, or lifestyle media is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with digital publishing tools, CMS platforms, AI prompt writing, and basic SEO principles is beneficial.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced editorial environment.
