Manufacturing & Engineering Company is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Executive in Srinagar. This is a full-time, entry-level role open to freshers and candidates with up to one year of experience. About the role You will join the production & maintenance team and own a defined scope of work from day one. Training is on the job: you are paired with a senior colleague for the first few weeks, then take your own workload with review. Key responsibilities • Support the production line with routine checks and downtime logging. • Prepare and update component drawings under a senior engineer’s review. • Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and spare-part records. • Take part in root-cause analysis when a defect or breakdown is reported. • Maintain accurate records so your work can be audited and handed over. • Take part in daily stand-ups, planning and review sessions. Tools and technologies you will use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, GD&T, Manufacturing Processes, Quality Control, Preventive Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Drawing — plus the internal systems the team uses day to day. What you will build in this role How a plant runs day to day: production planning, maintenance discipline, quality gates and the improvement loop behind them.
