Eligibility & Qualifications Educational Qualification Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant or allied subject from a recognized Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates should have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, or SET. Candidates holding a Ph.D. awarded in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from the NET requirement, subject to UGC rules. Candidates possessing a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the Top 500 Universities in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings are also eligible.
