Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in: Retail Leasing, Mall Leasing, Commercial Leasing, Office Leasing, Brand Acquisition.
  • Experience in leasing for shopping malls, high-street retail, mixed-use developments, or commercial business parks.
  • Prior experience with reputed developers, shopping malls, commercial real estate firms, or leasing consultancies is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful lease closures and tenant acquisition.

Position Overview:

Leasing Manager to lead leasing initiatives for retail and commercial assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in retail leasing, brand acquisition, and commercial negotiations, along with established relationships across retail, F&B, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, and service sectors.

This role requires a proactive professional who can identify leasing opportunities, engage prospective tenants, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close lease transactions while maximizing occupancy and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing & Business Development:

  • Identify, approach, and onboard suitable retail brands, F&B outlets, entertainment operators, and service providers for commercial and retail projects.
  • Generate new leasing leads through market outreach, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and emerging retail brands.
  • Drive brand acquisition initiatives to enhance the tenant mix and project positioning.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify leasing trends, brand expansion plans, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze market data and provide recommendations to optimize leasing strategies and occupancy levels.
  • Track competing retail and commercial developments to identify opportunities and market gaps.

Negotiation & Lease Closure:

  • Coordinate property presentations and site visits for prospective tenants.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate lease terms, rentals, revenue-sharing models, and other commercial conditions.
  • Manage the complete leasing lifecycle from lead generation and brand engagement to documentation and lease execution.
  • Ensure timely closure of leasing transactions while maintaining profitability objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate closely with developers, property owners, consultants, architects, and project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand representatives, leasing consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide regular leasing updates, occupancy reports, and pipeline forecasts to management.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare leasing proposals, presentations, commercial offers, and tenant mix recommendations.
  • Maintain an updated database of prospective tenants, leasing activities, negotiations, and closures.
  • Track leasing performance against targets and prepare periodic reports.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Additional certifications in Real Estate, Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be an advantage.
  • 2-5 years of experience in: Retail Leasing, Mall Leasing, Commercial Leasing, Office Leasing, Brand Acquisition.
