Lead – Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Lead – AI will spearhead AI-driven transformation initiatives across multiple client accounts. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and solution architecture, along with the ability to work closely with global clients to define use cases, deliver PoCs, and scale them into production-ready solutions tailored for business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AI project execution for enterprise clients in varied domains (BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing etc.)
  • Architect secure, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions leveraging cloud services and MLOps frameworks.
  • Manage AI CoE functions including capability building, framework development, and reusable components.
  • Conduct discovery workshops with clients to identify high-value AI opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
  • Build and operationalize RAG, LLM fine-tuning, NLP, and Computer Vision models.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data ingestion, transformation, and governance.
  • Drive documentation, compliance, testing, performance optimization, and SLA adherence.
  • Mentor team members and support talent acquisition for the AI practice.
  • Participate in pre-sales: solutioning, estimations, RFP responses, case study creation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in Python, ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering.
  • Proven delivery experience in IT Services client-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in AWS / Azure / GCP AI services, containerization: Docker & Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  • Solid understanding of ML lifecycle, MLOps, and production deployments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on multi-region, enterprise-grade AI workloads.
  • Knowledge of LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks, data ethics & model interpretability.
  • Certifications: Azure / AWS AI / GCP ML Engineer (advantageous).
