We are looking for experienced IP DRG Auditors with strong expertise in inpatient coding, DRG validation, clinical documentation review, and coding quality audits. The role involves reviewing inpatient medical records, ensuring coding accuracy, mentoring coders, and maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive IP DRG audits to validate diagnosis, procedure codes, DRG assignment, POA indicators, and discharge disposition based on clinical documentation.
- Reviewing inpatient medical records to ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, IPPS methodology, and organizational quality standards.
- Mentoring coding professionals by providing coding education, audit feedback, and guidance to improve coding accuracy and productivity.
- Maintaining audit logs, productivity reports, clarification trackers, and ensuring timely issue escalation while adhering to project protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OIG guidelines, organizational SOPs, and regulatory coding standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IP DRG Coding or IP DRG Auditing.
- Mandatory certification: CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder), or CPC (Certified Professional Coder).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Science.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRG methodology, IPPS, clinical documentation review, and inpatient coding guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with 3M Encoder, NLP tools, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
