Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Interior Designer to join our permanent, full-time staff. The selected candidate will play an important part in our construction projects, focussing on designing functional and visually appealing interior spaces that satisfy our clients’ demands and preferences.

Key responsibilities:

* Create design concepts that are creative, functional, and meet the client’s requirements and budget.

* Develop thorough designs, drawings, and requirements for interior areas, such as furniture layouts, lighting schemes, and material choices.

* Work with customers to understand and convert their vision into realistic design solutions.

* Choose and source materials, furniture, and décor that are consistent with the design concept and budget.

* Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure that the interior design complements the whole project.

* Oversee the installation of design elements, ensuring that the project is finished on time and with the highest quality standards.

* Conduct site visits to track development and check that the design is being carried out as intended.

* Keep up with the newest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.

* Create and present design proposals, mood boards, and 3D visuals to clients.

* Ensure that all designs meet local building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an interior designer.

* A thorough understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and material choices.

* Proficient in design applications such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

* Excellent creative and analytical thinking skills.

* Exceptional communication and presenting skills.

* Able to manage many projects and achieve deadlines.

* Demonstrated ability to operate both alone and collaboratively.

* Strong attention to detail and a good sense of aesthetics.
