Team members collaborate to design engaging learning experiences that prepare students for success in school and beyond.</p><p><strong>Role Description</strong> The IB English Teacher is a part-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a combination of on-site teaching and some work-from-home responsibilities. The teacher will plan and deliver IB English lessons that develop students’ analytical, writing, and literary interpretation skills, following IB guidelines and assessment criteria. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, facilitating interactive classes and discussions, assigning and grading work, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. The teacher will monitor achievement, communicate with learners and caregivers as needed, and contribute to exam preparation and internal assessments. Collaboration with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and participate in occasional meetings or training sessions is also expected.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with experience working with IB or similar international curricula.</li><li>Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices to design structured, engaging, and outcome-focused lessons.</li><li>Excellent Communication skills for interacting effectively with students, caregivers, and colleagues.</li><li>Relevant academic background, such as a degree in English, Literature, Education, or a closely related field.</li><li>Previous experience teaching secondary or pre-university English; IB English teaching experience is highly advantageous.</li><li>Ability to use digital tools for hybrid instruction, including online lesson delivery, assignments, and feedback.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centered approach that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.</li><li>Eligibility to work in Singapore and availability to teach during agreed time slots, including some evenings or weekends if required.</li></ul>
