Probation Period
  • 6 Months Probation

  • Confirmation of employment will be based on successful completion of probation.
Job Overview Sterling is looking for dedicated, disciplined, and target-oriented HR Recruiters to manage the complete recruitment lifecycle. The recruiter will work remotely using resumes and hiring requirements provided by the company and will be responsible for screening, interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and handing over candidates to the concerned department.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring
  • Screen resumes provided by Sterling.
  • Analyze candidate profiles according to job requirements.
  • Shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Contact candidates via phone, WhatsApp, email, or virtual meeting.
  • Explain job roles, salary structure, company policies, and work location.
  • Schedule interviews.
Interview Process Manage the complete recruitment cycle:
  • Resume Screening
  • Initial HR Screening
  • Round 1 Interview
  • Round 2 Interview
  • Final Selection Round
  • Candidate Evaluation
  • Selection Recommendation
Candidate Assessment

Evaluate candidates based on

  • Communication skills
  • Educational background
  • Experience
  • Technical knowledge (where applicable)
  • Stability of employment
  • Salary expectations
  • Notice period
  • Overall suitability for the role
Maintain proper interview feedback and recruitment records.

Offer Letter Management

  • Coordinate final approvals.
  • Release offer letters.
  • Explain employment terms and conditions.
  • Follow up with selected candidates until offer acceptance.
  • Ensure joining confirmation.
Document Verification Collect and verify all mandatory documents before joining:
  • Updated Resume
  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Educational Certificates
  • Experience Certificates
  • Relieving Letter (if applicable)
  • Salary Slips (if applicable)
  • Bank Account Details
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Address Proof
  • Any additional company-required documents
Ensure all documents are complete, genuine, and properly maintained.

Joining Formalities

  • Complete all joining documentation.
  • Verify candidate information.
  • Complete onboarding forms.
  • Coordinate joining dates.
  • Conduct pre-joining follow-ups.
  • Resolve candidate queries before joining.
Employee Handover

After successful onboarding

  • Complete onboarding checklist.
  • Update recruitment records.
  • Hand over the employee to the concerned department.
  • Coordinate with the concerned team for induction and operational onboarding.
Daily Hiring Targets Recruiters will be responsible for achieving daily recruitment goals, including:
  • Resume screening
  • Candidate calling
  • Interview scheduling
  • Interview completion
  • Offer letter releases
  • Candidate joining
  • Daily recruitment reports
Performance will be measured based on daily, weekly, and monthly hiring targets and joining conversion ratios.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
  • Good analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets, and email proficiency.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently from home.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA/HR preferred).
  • Recruitment experience preferred but not mandatory.
