We are growing our teaching team in India and are looking for passionate Mathematics teachers who want to build a long-term career in online teaching and gain experience teaching students from the US education system.

Who are we looking for?

We are specifically looking for teachers who have strong knowledge and teaching experience in Grades 6–12 Mathematics , particularly in one or more of the following:

  • Algebra 1
  • Algebra 2
  • Geometry
  • Trigonometry
  • Precalculus
  • Calculus
  • AMC 8 / Competition Mathematics
  • SAT Math

Strong subject knowledge in at least one of the above areas is essential.

What you will do
  • Teach live online classes to students in the USA/Canada
  • Conduct engaging and interactive mathematics lessons
  • Help students develop conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Teach according to VEDX's curriculum and teaching methodology
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students
  • Participate in training, observations and faculty development programs
  • Depending on performance, take on advanced batches and additional teaching responsibilities

⏰ Work Commitment

Minimum 4 hours per day is required.

Classes are scheduled according to USA time zones , which generally means evening/night working hours in India.

Candidates should be comfortable with a consistent USA-time-zone schedule.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field preferred
  • Strong mathematics fundamentals
  • Prior teaching/tutoring experience
  • Excellent spoken English and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the Grade 6–12 subjects listed above
  • Passion for teaching and working with students
  • Good internet connection and a reliable laptop/desktop
  • Willingness to undergo VEDX training and classroom observations

Fresh postgraduate Mathematics candidates with excellent subject knowledge and a strong interest in teaching are also encouraged to apply.

Remuneration

INR – hourly compensation based on experience and teaching capability.

As faculty demonstrate strong performance and take on advanced batches, there is an opportunity for increased remuneration and responsibilities .
