Role Description The Coach brings warmth, consistency, and real coaching experience to Dream Center Indianapolis's Life Coaching System. The coach steps into this role as a familiar, trusted presence, hosting a weekly evening group coaching session and staying available for 11 calls as participants need them. This is a part-time, hourly, evening role that works closely with and is supported by the Lead Coach. It's built for someone who already knows how to hold space for a room of women working toward big goals, and who can show up one-on-one when a participant needs extra support between group sessions. Coaching Format This role centers on one weekly evening group coaching session. Beyond that, the Coach keeps open calendar time available for 11 calls, which participants can use as needed rather than on a fixed weekly schedule. Core Responsibilities • Group Coaching • Host one weekly evening group coaching session for participants within a cohort. • Create a group environment that feels safe, encouraging, and consistent with Dream Center's coaching approach. • Adjust group session focus and pacing based on where the cohort is in their journey. • Use group sessions to build peer connection and shared accountability among participants. • 11 Coaching • Maintain open calendar availability for 11 coaching calls, virtually, as needed by participants. • Open sessions with celebrations and follow the Dream Center coaching structure celebrations, review last week, current challenge, next step, encouragement close. • Help participants stay connected to their three core goals certification, savings, and $20/hr (or more) employment. • Support participants in identifying and working through the real obstacles that get in the way of their goals. • Stay present and flexible when life disrupts the plan, know when to hold the goals and when to simply show up. • Participant Progress Tracking • Submit a brief session report after each session — date, focus, action item, any concerns or milestones. • Maintain up-to-date records of participant goals, progress, and session notes in Dream Center's tracking system (ETO). • Track attendance and flag missed sessions promptly so the team can follow up. • Identify participants at risk of disengaging and communicate concerns to leadership early. • Monitor milestone progress — certification, savings, and employment — and flag achievements for reporting. • Collaboration & Escalation • Communicate regularly with the Lead Coach and Program Director about participant needs and any concerns. • Escalate immediately when a participant's situation exceeds coaching scope mental health crisis, safety concern, housing emergency. • Coordinate with the Lead Coach and other team members during high-enrollment periods when additional support is needed. • Participate in required virtual team meetings for strategic updates and participant review. Qualifications • Demonstrated experience coaching or holding space for women navigating poverty, workforce barriers, or major life transitions. • Experience delivering both group and 11 coaching. • Strong relationship-building skills warm, consistent, reliable, and able to establish trust quickly, in both group and individual settings. • Ability to manage coaching responsibilities with organization, care, and consistent follow-through. • Comfort with documentation and session tracking. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Comfort with virtual coaching via Zoom and digital tools for tracking and communication. • Alignment with Dream Center Indianapolis's mission, values, and faith-informed culture.
