Head - Sales - Color Doppler Segment - Government Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Business Development & P/L Responsibility:

- Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies for the General Business (GB) vertical

- Identify and develop new markets, customer segments, and revenue channels in the govt/institutional space

- Set sales targets, KPIs, and accurate forecasting models for the GB portfolio

- Drive data-driven sales performance using CRM tools and AI-based analytics

Government Business & Tender Management:

- Lead end-to-end tender management identification, bid preparation, submission, and negotiation

- Manage and grow the company's GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal presence and orders

- Build and maintain relationships with government procurement authorities, CMSS, TNMSC, and state medical corporations

- Ensure timely submission of tenders, compliance with L1/technical requirements, and performance bank guarantees

- Track and respond to CPPP, GEM, state e-procurement portals proactively

Sales Operations & Revenue Management:

- Oversee sales operations and ensure achievement of revenue targets

- Monitor order pipeline, collections, and receivables to ensure healthy working capital

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, GeM policies, and company quality standards

- Manage pricing strategy, discount structures, and margin controls across product lines

Team Leadership:

- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performance GB sales team across regions

- Set individual performance goals and drive a results-oriented culture

- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and field visits with the team

Channel & Stakeholder Management:

- Build and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners for GB products

- Negotiate channel agreements, appointment terms, and performance commitments

- Engage with key institutional stakeholders hospital administrators, biomedical engineers, purchase officers

Customer Focus:

- Ensure high customer satisfaction through after-sales support coordination and strong retention strategies

- Handle escalations with defined TAT and gather structured market feedback for product improvement

- Drive repeat business through proactive account management and service excellence
