Head Of Project Management, Podcasting (WFH)

About the job:

Full-time | Remote or SF | Covering India + SF + NYC hours

  • Role: Head of Project Management / Head of Operations, Podcasting
  • Location: Remote
  • Time zones: India, SF & NYC
  • Intensity: Intense
  • Salary: $100k to $200k

We're saying that intensity line up front because we mean it. This isn't a comfortable seat where you forward status updates. We are already the dominant player in tech podcast marketing, and we're hiring the person who makes the machine behind it run flawlessly. If that's the mandate you want, and you want to get paid like it, keep reading.

About Atomik

Atomik Growth (atomikgrowth.com) helps the biggest tech podcasts, VCs, and tech companies find alpha in marketing by blending creative with distribution. We grew 10x in the last six months. Our clients are the names you already follow: Acquired, My First Million, a16z, Kleiner Perkins, and many more.

About the Role

You will run project management and operations for our podcasting division: the PM team, the client relationships, and the systems that turn 30 creatives and operators into on-time, on-brief delivery for some of the biggest shows in tech.

We're dominant and moving fast, which means there's chaos to tame. You'll build the processes and systems that let this division scale without breaking, while leaving room for the creative work to stay great. Structure that serves the craft, not structure that strangles it.

You'll also push our podcasting product and services forward. You sit closest to what clients need and where delivery gets stuck, so you'll shape what we offer and how we package it. Much of our delivery runs through our India team and many of our clients are in SF, so you'll be the connective tissue between them, keeping the handoff seamless.

What you'll do

  • Lead the PM team. Hire, develop, and set the bar for every PM.
  • Own client satisfaction, communications, and results. Every show feels looked after, informed, and ahead of schedule.
  • Build and implement systems that improve how everything runs internally.
  • Push our podcasting product and services forward, based on what clients need.
  • Bridge our India delivery team and SF clients so the two run as one.
  • Uphold insane quality and customer service on every show.

Who We're Looking For

You've done this before at a digital media agency:

  • Perfect English, both written and spoken
  • Agency PM leadership. You've run project management at an agency working in branding, design, video, or development.
  • Team size. You've managed 4 to 10 PMs directly.
  • Client load. Your team has carried 10 to 20 clients at once, and you kept them all happy.
  • Systems builder. You've designed and rolled out the workflows, tools, and reporting a team actually uses.

You take a fast, messy, growing operation and bring order to it without killing the creativity. And you know the tech world, or genuinely want to. Our clients are podcasts, VCs, and tech companies, and you need to speak their language.

Expectations

Like every leader at Atomik, this is not a seat-warming role. We are all generals and soldiers: you set direction and get in the work.

  • You make delivery predictable and own the outcome
  • You bring order without killing the creativity
  • You lead from the front
  • You keep the India team and SF clients in lockstep
  • You raise the ceiling of every PM around you
  • You thrive in intensity and are available across SF and NYC hours

If running operations for the leading division in the space and making it dominate even more excites you, we want to talk.
