Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is actively seeking meticulous and intellectually curious individuals to join our remote team as Freelance Research Note Takers. In this role, you will support researchers, analysts, and academic professionals by taking organized, concise, and detailed notes during virtual interviews, meetings, and research calls. Key Responsibilities

  • Attend live or recorded virtual research sessions, including focus groups, interviews, and academic discussions.

  • Take accurate, high-quality notes in real-time or from recordings.

  • Summarize conversations and highlight key themes, quotes, or trends.

  • Format and proofread notes to ensure they meet professional standards and client requirements.

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive or proprietary information.

  • Communicate with project coordinators to confirm schedules and expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional English language proficiency, both written and verbal.

  • Strong listening skills with attention to nuance and tone.

  • Fast and accurate typing abilities (minimum 60 WPM preferred).

  • Ability to structure and format notes in a clear, readable, and consistent way.

  • Comfortable using tools like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs.

  • High level of discretion and reliability when dealing with sensitive information.

Experience

  • Previous experience in note-taking, transcription, academic writing, or research assistance is strongly preferred.

  • Freshers with strong writing and listening skills are also encouraged to apply.

  • Backgrounds in communications, social sciences, journalism, or market research are a plus.
