Role Description The Flipkart Team Leader (TL) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore, responsible for overseeing and optimizing operations related to brand presence on Flipkart. The TL will manage a small team handling listing, cataloguing, promotions, and overall marketplace hygiene, ensuring that product pages are accurate, engaging, and compliant with platform guidelines.

This role involves coordinating with internal marketing, design, and operations teams to plan campaigns, monitor sales performance, manage inventory-related updates, and resolve listing or account issues in a timely manner. The TL will analyze data and performance reports, implement strategies to improve visibility and conversion, and maintain regular communication with clients or stakeholders regarding progress and outcomes. Daily tasks also include setting team targets, mentoring team members, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to company processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing e-commerce marketplace operations (preferably Flipkart), including product listing, catalog management, and promotion setup.
  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to set goals, monitor performance, coach team members, and manage workflows effectively.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce concepts, such as SEO for product listings, pricing strategies, and campaign optimization.
  • Competence in data analysis and reporting, using marketplace dashboards and basic Excel or similar tools to track KPIs and make decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, clients, and platform support.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Prior experience in an on-site role within an e-commerce agency or marketplace-focused team is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field is desirable; equivalent experience in e-commerce operations is also valued.
