Financial Analyst, PSG Operations - India

Section 1: Position Summary

Financial Analyst position will support the Loans and Distributions team to provide timely and accurate processing of distributions/loans. The role also requires understanding operational workflows as it relates to both the individual role and Operations as a whole.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•     Support timely and accurate processing of disbursements

•     Research and resolve outstanding issues as it pertain to distributions processing

•     Partner with various trust companies, recordkeepers and internal departments to ensure participant checks are mailed timely.  Also ensure all trust excesses are identified and invested or resolved timely.

•     Effectively communicate (verbal/written) with clients on transaction forms that are not in good order and follow up as necessary to ensure timely completion.

•     Identify escalated issues/concerns and refer these to your leadership team.

General duties and responsibilities:

•     Consistently provide a high level of customer service while communicating and coordinating with internal/external business units to assist in issue resolution.

•     Document procedures and workflows.

•     Seek out training opportunities offered through the Learning Center. Continuously increase skill set on less familiar topics that have an influence on the department.

•     Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Future Plan to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Future Plan or our clients.

Candidate description:

Financial analysts require a brief understanding of financial services industry, specifically focusing on 401(K) plan administration, should be avid learner willing to adapt and work in a team environment.

Section 3:  Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

•     2 - 6 years of office administration preferred (Experience in the US retirement industry would be added advantage)

•     Demonstrates ability to document procedures that are clear and easy to understand. Effectively communicates with clients on specific tasks.

•     Effectively solves problems with direction utilizing resources/procedures for a specific process, with a defined resolution.

•     Works efficiently with a pre-defined schedule or set of existing priorities. Responsibility to manage own tasks but may need assistance dealing with conflicting priorities.

•     Ability to complete daily work as assigned.

Section 4: Education

•     MBA, preferable from Finance background

•     Good verbal & written communication skills

•     Attention to detail.

•     Good time management skills

•     Ability to work independently

•     Good Problem solving and analytical skills

•     Self-Learner

•     Basic MS Office knowledge and preference to good working knowledge of Excel

•     Must be able to adapt the assignments quickly

•     Flexibility in work culture (Example – She/he should be flexible in Day/Night shift based on business requirement)
