Job description

She/he will be responsible for performing the following functions:

Handle Classes on Mathematics for Aptitude Test (Includes Problem Solving, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Puzzles and Other Non-Verbal Reasoning).

Prepare well-structured syllabus in consultation with Chief Manager–Learning & Development (Aptitude) and should forward to all the students through AUMS (the university LMS).

In advance.

Send all class notes to students one week in advance through AUMS (the university LMS).

Prepare question papers maintaining the standard of CAT, GMAT, GRE, and MAT and getting feedback from students who have cleared written test in different placement examinations.

Monitor students’ progress in their preparation inside the classroom by conducting a 15-minute test in all classes and record their marks.

Provide the students with their performance graph to help them understand their strengths and weaknesses in various topics.

Conduct Quiz and Puzzles programs.

Motivate students to achieve the common goal of improving their subject knowledge (Competency in Aptitude).

Collect feedback from students about various aspects of teaching and self-improvement.

Conduct mock examinations and give feedback about their performance immediately after their examination.

Conduct “Question Paper Analysis” session for all the classes immediately after their examination.

Provide aptitude question pools for different entrance examinations conducted by Amrita University

Provide focused training to the students who are unable to clear the first round (screening) of test in the recruitment process of companies.

Be updated with different university related accreditation requirements coming under the purview of the CIR learning and development activities.
