We all win together. WHAT WE’LL NEED As Director, Field Marketing India, you will be the marketing leader responsible for establishing Wingstop in one of our priority international growth markets. Partnering closely with the VP & Managing Director, India, our Brand Partner, Operations and cross-functional GSC teams, you will build the brand strategy and go-to-market approach for India, beginning with our first restaurant opening in Bangalore. You will translate Wingstop’s global brand DNA into a locally relevant, culturally resonant proposition for Indian consumers, creating the foundation for awareness, trial, traffic, sales and long-term brand affinity as the business scales across the market. Partner closely with the VP & Managing Director, India, Brand Partner, Operations and International Marketing to develop and execute the India marketing strategy and launch roadmap. Own Wingstop’s brand strategy and positioning for India, ensuring our global brand DNA is translated with local cultural relevance and a clear point of difference in market. Lead the end-to-end go-to-market plan for our first Bangalore restaurant opening, including audience strategy, creative, media, digital and social, PR, influencers, partnerships, local activation and launch execution. Build an India marketing plan and investment framework that supports market entry, restaurant growth and future expansion, with clear objectives, priorities, budgets and measurement. Develop a scalable market-entry and new restaurant opening playbook that can be applied as Wingstop expands beyond Bangalore into additional cities. Lead local consumer, cultural, category and competitive insight work to identify the audiences, occasions and behaviors that can accelerate awareness, trial and repeat. Establish and lead the local agency ecosystem, including RFPs, agency selection, briefing, creative development and performance management across key marketing disciplines. Work with relevant teams to build and grow ordering through brand owned digital channels, improve conversions, repeat orders and AUV. Partner in creating CRM and Loyalty roadmap to eventually build a robust, data-driven customer ecosystem. Develop National level, State level and Hyperlocal relationships that help in traffic generation, including partnering closely with DSPs to maximize brand visibility though business planning and targeted promotions. Guide localization of global campaigns and creative assets while protecting Wingstop brand standards, tone of voice and visual identity. Act as a strategic marketing advisor to the Brand Partner, influencing marketing investment, local market priorities and long-term brand-building decisions. Collaborate with Regional Marketing Directors continuously optimize activity based on data and learning. Identify and activate culturally relevant partnerships, influencers, events and local moments that can build fame and make Wingstop meaningful to Indian consumers. Work cross-functionally with Operations, Development, Culinary, Supply Chain and other teams to ensure the guest proposition, menu storytelling and launch experience are aligned to the brand strategy. Manage marketing programs within budget targets, maximize return on investment, and prepare regular performance updates and strategic recommendations for India and GSC leadership. Proactively introduce new ideas, test-and-learn initiatives and scalable solutions, sharing learnings and best practices with the wider Wingstop international team. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Minimum 8 years marketing experience, with significant experience in field, brand or market-entry marketing A track record of turning consumer and cultural insight into strong brand strategy and measurable commercial outcomes BS/BA in Marketing or related field Experience across brand strategy, integrated marketing, media, digital and social Experience leading agencies and complex cross-functional stakeholder groups Experience building brands in India and/or launching into new markets strongly preferred High stamina to travel up to 50%, work extended hours as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays.
