Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a department team of up to 10 members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage daily department operations, including sales performance, profitability, inventory control, and stock availability.
  • Monitor ordering practices, stock levels, and stock rotation to minimize wastage and optimize sales.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and merchandising displays.
  • Prepare staff rosters according to business needs, promotional calendars, and manpower requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of product presentation, cleanliness, food safety, and customer service.
  • Drive team performance through coaching, training, and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory/team lead experience in supermarket, retail, FMCG, F&B, or hospitality industries.
  • Experience managing staff and daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
