About This Role Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the role of Ticketing Executive at stations across the Delhi Metro network. Ticketing Executives handle passenger ticketing transactions, travel card issuance, station operations support, and passenger assistance. This is a stable, government-linked employment opportunity with structured pay scales and career progression for eligible freshers and graduates. Key Responsibilities Manage ticket vending machine (TVM) operations and assist passengers with token purchases, travel card recharges, and fare enquiries Issue, activate, and manage stored-value Metro cards and monthly pass applications at the ticketing counter Handle cash and cashless transactions at the ticketing window and maintain accurate shift records and cash tallies Assist passengers with route information, interchange guidance, and accessibility support Coordinate with station control staff and security personnel during peak hours, emergency situations, and planned service events Report technical faults in ticketing equipment and escalate to the maintenance team promptly Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the ticketing area and waiting zones Required Skills and Qualifications 12th pass (any stream) from a recognised board; a graduate degree is preferred Minimum age: 18 years; upper age limit as per DMRC recruitment notification Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English for assisting Delhi Metro's diverse passenger base Basic numeracy and computer skills for handling digital ticketing systems Pleasant, patient, and helpful attitude toward public service Physical fitness as per DMRC medical standards What We Offer Monthly salary in the range of ₹22,000–₹32,000 as per DMRC pay scales and grade Regular government-linked increments and periodic pay revisions PF, gratuity, medical benefits, and subsidised transport for staff Job stability with one of India's most respected public transport organisations Promotion opportunities to Senior Executive or Station Supervisor roles through internal assessments About Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) operates and maintains the Delhi Metro system, one of the world's largest and most efficient urban rail networks with over 390 km of track and 285 stations.
